Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Part-Time Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting our accounting and bookkeeping operations. You'll have the opportunity to learn and grow with our team, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

* Learn and master various accounting and bookkeeping software, including QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other apps

• Enter financial transactions, reconcile bank accounts, and review basic financials
• Download financial statements and perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
• Collaborate with our team to resolve issues and share knowledge and best practices
• Work independently to find solutions and share with others
• Respond promptly to emails and messages from team members
• Participate in ongoing education and training to expand your knowledge and skills

Essential Qualifications:

* 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other accounting software

• Basic knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment
