Job Summary
As a Customer Material Clerk I, you will be responsible for managing the flow of materials and supplies from our warehouse to our customers. You will work closely with our logistics team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials, while also maintaining accurate records and reports. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and supplies from our warehouse - Coordinate with our logistics team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to our customers - Maintain accurate records and reports of material movements, including inventory levels and delivery schedules - Collaborate with our customers to understand their material needs and preferences - Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs - Work closely with our quality control team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations - Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred - 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or logistics role, preferably in the aviation industry - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines - Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
