Experienced Data Entry Clerk – Organizational Support and Client Records Management

Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for organizing and maintaining client records, charts, and files, ensuring the accountability, confidentiality, and security of the same. You will perform billing and admissions data entry work, collect, process, and secure assessment fees from clients, and generate reports regarding the same. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Organize and maintain client records, charts, and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality - Perform billing and admissions data entry work, including collecting, processing, and securing assessment fees from clients - Generate reports regarding client data and assessment fees - Maintain the confidentiality and security of client records and files - Ensure the accuracy and completeness of client data and records - Collaborate with other teams to resolve data entry and record-keeping issues - Develop and maintain spreadsheets and other data management tools to support organizational operations

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Knowledge of general office practices and procedures - Knowledge of computer operations, especially the use of databases - Skill in Microsoft Word and Excel applications, with the ability to effectively create and maintain spreadsheets - Ability to maintain the confidential nature of the position - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Education and Experience

- High school diploma or G.E.D. - Two years of general office experience, including typing and/or keypunching data into a computer, or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities - Certifications: None

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

- Ability to meet attendance requirements - Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively - Ability to perform basic mathematical equations - Ability to sort and file documents alphabetically and numerically - Ability to effectively operate office materials and equipment - Ability to type and keypunch data into a computer with a high rate of accuracy in a timely manner - Duties are usually performed seated, with brief or occasional periods of standing or walking - Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) - Work is usually performed in a normal office environment with little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like
