Job Summary

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative – Medical Billing Resolution Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to patient inquiries and resolving medical billing issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing clear and concise explanations of medical billing processes and procedures
  • Collaborating with patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate payment processing
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and billing information
  • Staying up-to-date on industry developments and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and quality service delivery

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person

  • Resolve medical billing issues, including billing discrepancies, payment processing, and insurance claims
  • Provide clear and concise explanations of medical billing processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve billing issues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and billing information
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and quality service delivery
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* 1-2 years of experience in healthcare billing or customer service

  • Strong knowledge of medical billing processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • Knowledge of electronic health records (EHRs) and medical billing software
  • Certification in medical billing or a related field (e.g., CPC, CCS-P)
