Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced and customer-focused individual to join our Golf Course Retail and Pro-Shop Operations team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized retail environment. Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to our members and guests, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty
- Process transactions, including cash, credit card sales, and member account charges
- Maintain a clean and organized retail environment, including the pro-shop and surrounding areas
- Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and fittings
- Operate a cash register, manage cash handling procedures, and resolve common arithmetic problems
- Validate advanced green fee cards and process green fee sales
- Assist with inventory management, pricing, and special orders
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications
* 1-2 years of experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and meeting sales targets
- Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures and ability to operate a cash register
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or specialized training in retail sales or customer service preferred
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a golf course or pro-shop environment
- Knowledge of golf equipment, apparel, and accessories
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
