About the AVS Operations Team

The AVS Operations Team is dedicated to facilitating the accurate and secure transmission of applicant information, thereby maximizing the impact of government funds by reducing fraud and expediting benefits eligibility. Our mission is to provide exceptional service to our customers while maintaining the highest level of quality and security.

Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Accurately entering financial and account balance data provided by financial institutions, meeting productivity and quality standards
  • Maintaining detailed records of data entry tasks
  • Processing data within the same day of receipt, adhering to strict service level agreements
  • Renaming and splitting large files promptly after training
  • Operating envelope inserters and other mail equipment efficiently
  • Sorting incoming mail by type of data
  • Contacting financial institutions regarding requests with missing account information, including phone communication if necessary
  • Occasionally picking up mail from the nearby Post Office
  • Performing other department responsibilities as required

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college degree preferred; high school diploma required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • 10-key proficiency (assessment will be given during interview)
  • Strong commitment to high-quality performance
  • Ability to objectively analyze information and draw correct conclusions
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Reliable and able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Efficiently handle multiple tasks without loss in productivity
  • Ability to adjust to new environments and demands, functioning effectively with minimal confusion
  • Must obtain contract-specific security clearance as a condition of continued employment
  • Availability to work some company holidays with compensation

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $41,600.00 - $69,300.00 per year, depending on experience.

Work Environment

Our office is located in Evanston, Illinois, and this position requires hybrid work from our office. We offer a collaborative and dynamic work environment, with opportunities for growth and development.
