Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to join our team in Garden City, NY or in a remote capacity. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, answering their questions, and helping them navigate their insurance policies. Responsibilities
As a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring quality customer service on Homeowner and Auto policies, as well as other specialized lines of insurance
- Taking calls, answering client questions, and providing solutions to their insurance-related needs
- Cross-selling home and auto business, shopping renewals, ID cards, proof of insurance, and other related services
- Managing a book of approximately 60 customers, providing personalized service and support to each client
- Collaborating with our team to resolve complex customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in an independent agency
- Property and Casualty (P&C) licensed in NY
- Ability to commute to Garden City, NY or reliably work in a remote capacity
- Experience with EZLynx preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
