Job Summary
We're looking for a highly motivated and organized Part-Time Data Entry/Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our inside sales team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing orders, and providing quotations to our clients and outside sales representatives. Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Data Entry/Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Directly supporting designated outside field representatives and clients
- Processing incoming orders into our online system (SAGE 100)
- Following up on processed orders to ensure timely delivery
- Providing quotations to outside sales representatives and clients in a timely fashion
- Responding swiftly and courteously to customer complaints or inquiries
- Capturing customer information, including addresses and phone numbers, to ensure effective order delivery and future follow-up
- Building relationships with customers through friendly, engaging communication and excellent customer service
- Effectively communicating order requirements to other departments in-house (assembly, shipping, etc.)
- Communicating status of orders/quotations to the Management Team
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience as a customer service/inside sales representative (preferred)
- At least 2 years of customer service experience
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and telephone manner
- Fluency in Spanish (preferred but not required)
- Sage 100 experience helpful
