Job Summary

We're looking for a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Care Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Care department, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our policy holders, agents, and funeral homes. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable call experience and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and addressing concerns in a fair and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide solutions
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
  • Stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge to provide informed and accurate information to customers
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

* High School diploma or equivalent

  • Basic computer operation skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to type 35 wpm
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain accurate records
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures
  • Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:45pm MST
  • Part-time schedule open to discussion

Preferred Qualifications

* Prior experience working in the insurance industry

  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with a focus on Spanish
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
