Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative with arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests through various communication channels, including voice, email, and chat. You'll work closely with guests to understand their needs, resolve issues, and provide personalized solutions that exceed their expectations. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues in a timely, professional, and courteous manner

  • Process reservation requests and support basic loyalty and customer care requests
  • Identify guest reservation needs and follow sales techniques to maximize revenue
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for special booking rules and requests, loyalty guidelines, and case management
  • Provide customer support through assistance and guidance in issue resolution, and open communication with Marriott properties, related company contacts, and third parties
  • Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets; protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Requirements

* High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

  • No related work experience required
  • Supervisory experience not required
  • License or certification not required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable internet connection with a minimum of 3 Mbps download speed and 1 Mbps upload speed
  • Physical cable plug-in (ethernet) connection

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer service experience in a call center or retail environment

  • Experience working with computer systems and software applications
  • Knowledge of travel industry and hotel operations
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
