Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Customer Engineer to join our team, working remotely from home on a part-time basis. As a key member of our client-facing team, you'll be responsible for identifying and qualifying business opportunities, resolving technical issues, and developing strategic solutions to drive client success. Key Responsibilities

* Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, recognizing client technical complaints and developing a plan to resolve technical blockers

• Manage technical relationships with Google clients, including product briefings, proof-of-concept work, and coordination of additional technical resources
• Collaborate with clients to demonstrate and model Google Cloud product combinations in client or partner environments
• Suggest migration techniques, project models, migration tools, and cloud infrastructure to implement a comprehensive solution using Google Cloud
• Attend client sites, meetings, and other related events as required
• Test and motivate clients and partners to tackle issues with solutions utilizing a range of technical capabilities

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience

• 4 years of experience as a technical sales engineer in a distributed computing environment, or client-facing role
• Experience in traditional data center models and components (e.g., servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technology)
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, infrastructure, storage, or services

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with deployment methodologies and tools (e.g., Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), Chef, Puppet, Ansible)

• Experience with operating systems, Linux system administration, or enterprise applications
• Experience with public cloud platforms, infrastructure, storage, or services
• Experience in security matters (e.g., authentication protocols, identity and access management systems, encryption, securing cloud structures, network security)
• Experience in areas of networking (e.g., Linux, program-defined networking, virtualization, open protocols, application acceleration and load balancing, DNS, virtual private networks and their application to PaaS and IaaS technologies)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of urgency and a commitment to delivering results
• Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the cloud computing market and its applications
