Overview of the Role

As an E-Service Chat Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to homeowners, contractors, and business partners through inbound and outbound electronic communication. You'll be the face of arenaflex, representing our brand and values in every interaction. Your primary goal will be to resolve customer service issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring that every customer has a positive experience with our company.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist customers, contractors, and/or business partners via electronic communication, such as chat, email, or messaging platforms, according to all policies, procedures, and contract coverage.

  • Explain and uphold contract coverage to customers and/or contractors, ensuring they understand their options and benefits.
  • Follow up with customers, contractors, and/or business partners to ensure customer service issues are resolved and that they're satisfied with the outcome.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all policies, procedures, programs, and complete required continuing education courses to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
  • Assume other duties as assigned by management, such as participating in quality improvement initiatives or contributing to process enhancements.

Qualifications

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in a remote or virtual environment.
  • Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Multi-tasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple conversations and tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

* Customer service experience and/or training, with a focus on resolving complex issues and providing exceptional service.

  • Experience with chat platforms, such as Zendesk or Freshdesk.
  • Familiarity with home maintenance and repair industry, including knowledge of common issues and solutions.

Essential Functions

* Ability to be on video call as required during working hours.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a remote team.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits

* Competitive hourly rate, ranging from $15 to $17 per hour, depending on skills, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and location.
