About the Position

As a Home Improvement Retail Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in assisting customers with their home improvement projects by providing exceptional customer service. This role involves training on-site in Lakeland, FL, before transitioning to remote work. You'll handle online orders, coordinate delivery and installation of appliances, and resolve customer issues to ensure a positive experience.

Responsibilities:

* Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring a positive and memorable experience

  • Communicate with customers over the phone, via email, and online chat, using active listening skills and empathy to resolve issues
  • Navigate a computer with multiple windows and screens to assist customers, using technical proficiency to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Resolve customer issues while ensuring an exceptional customer experience, using problem-solving skills and creative thinking
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide seamless support

Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED required

  • Ability to type at least 25 words per minute
  • Intermediate/advanced technical proficiency to toggle between multiple systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction

Nice-to-Haves:

* Open availability between 6am-2am EST, 7 days a week

  • Reliable transportation to and from the training site in Lakeland, FL
  • Ability to thrive in a social environment with networking and collaboration
  • Experience in the home improvement retail industry or a related field
  • Proficiency in multiple software applications, including CRM systems and customer service platforms
