Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Customs Trade Coordinator to join our remote team. As a Customs Trade Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing customs documentation, managing shipments, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This is a full-time position, with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
* Process customs documentation, including import and export declarations, certificates of origin, and commercial invoices
- Manage shipments, including tracking and tracing, and ensuring timely delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Stay up-to-date with customs regulations and procedures, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as international business, logistics, or supply chain management
- At least 6 months of experience in customs trade, logistics, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures, including import and export laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external clients
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
* HS Certificate or GED required
- Industry experience preferred, but not required
- Experience with data entry and record-keeping systems
- Familiarity with customs software and systems, including ACE and AES
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
