Job Summary
As a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely entry of prescription information into our pharmacy systems. This is a remote opportunity that offers an immediate start for the right candidate. We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong dedication to maintaining patient confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately enter prescription and patient information into the pharmacy database
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of prescription orders
- Process and manage insurance claims and prior authorizations
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to clarify prescription details when needed
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
- Uphold patient confidentiality and data security standards
- Assist in inventory management and other pharmacy-related tasks as required
Qualifications
* Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or in the process of obtaining certification
- Prior experience in pharmacy data entry is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of pharmacy software and prescription processing systems
- Familiarity with insurance claim processing is a plus
- Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
