Job Summary

As an Experienced Client Services Officer, you'll provide critical support to our Trust Officers in the administration of fiduciary accounts. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing day-to-day functions on assigned accounts accurately and by necessary deadlines, including opening and closing accounts, processing wire requests, and handling IRA Required Minimum Distributions.
  • Monitoring accounts on a daily basis for overdrafts and uninvested cash, and keeping Trust Officers informed.
  • Analyzing and researching account problems, and recommending solutions as appropriate.
  • Establishing and maintaining an orderly record-keeping system, ensuring the maintenance of confidential accounts files and special reports.
  • Ordering supplies for the team as needed.
  • Resolving client requests and referring complex inquiries to Trust Officers.
  • Reading and understanding Trust Agreements and related documents for administrative purposes.
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with other team members to ensure high-quality and timely administration of assigned fiduciary accounts.
  • Monitoring corporate action, processing proxies, and due diligence reports for sub-advisors.
  • Maintaining compliance with all internal policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Providing backup to other Client Service Officers when needed.
  • Creating and maintaining professional rapport and mutually agreeable working relationships with clients to sustain the account relationship.
  • Handling special projects as needed by the team.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications

* 3-5 years of related experience and/or training.

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
  • Proficiency in dealing with difficult clients and providing superior customer service.
  • Discretion of confidential personal, estate planning, and financial information of clients is mandatory.
  • Solid computer skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal skills and ability to draft original correspondence.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills are highly desirable.
  • Strong numbers orientation and attention to detail.
  • Polished and able to work on and manage multiple tasks and projects with varied and changing priorities.
  • Able to work well on a diverse team, and flexible with the pressure of high volume and multiple deadlines.
  • Follow established procedures, as well as solve problems creatively.
  • High energy and enthusiasm are desirable traits.

Compensation and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
