The Role
As a Benefits Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with current and future clients, providing expert guidance on their benefits and addressing their needs and concerns
- Collaborating with the account management team to ensure seamless service delivery and support
- Managing client renewals, educating clients on benefits-related topics, and addressing other benefit-related tasks as they arise
- Supporting the executive team in driving business growth and development
- Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling benefits to clients
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments to provide expert advice and guidance to clients
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Relationship Building: + Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and future clients + Provide expert guidance on benefits-related topics and address client concerns + Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling benefits to clients
- Renewal Management:
+ Manage client renewals and ensure seamless service delivery + Educate clients on benefits-related topics and address their needs and concerns
- Team Collaboration:
+ Collaborate with the account management team to ensure seamless service delivery and support + Support the executive team in driving business growth and development
- Industry Knowledge:
+ Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to provide expert advice and guidance to clients
Requirements:
* 1+ year of experience in employee benefits, ideally on the brokerage side of the business
- Health licensing a plus
- Client Service experience a must
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with benefits software and systems
- Knowledge of benefits-related laws and regulations
- Certification in benefits-related fields (e.g., CEBS, CLU)
- Experience working in a hybrid or remote environment

Compensation and Benefits:
* Competitive salary range: $50,000 to $60,000
