About the Role

As a Customer Service & Sales Assistant, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and supporting our retail operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering legendary customer service, ensuring a high-quality experience for our customers
  • Driving sales through active selling, product knowledge, and guidance
  • Maintaining the appearance of the sales floor, including visual merchandising and inventory management
  • Operating cash registers, handling customer transactions, and executing cash handling procedures
  • Supporting inventory and order fulfillment, including receiving and processing merchandise
  • Responding to customer inquiries, providing solutions, and building relationships

Requirements

* Pleasant personality, excellent customer service skills, and enjoyment of working with the public

  • Moderate computer/systems competency and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to occasionally climb ladders, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods
  • Prior retail sales experience is helpful but not required
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail or sales

  • Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management and visual merchandising
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
