Jefferson Elementary provides programming for grades 1-4, focusing on small group instruction, responsive classroom, STEM opportunities and a core curriculum. We offer a middle school structure and environment for grades 5-8, focused on advisory, exploratory and experiential learning opportunities. Our high school is for grades 9-12, offering college, vocational and work-ready courses. We have many opportunities for fine arts and athletics for all students. A Career Technical Education (CTE) Center provides students with opportunities in automotive, welding, manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, construction careers and cabinetry. Position Available: SCIENCE TEACHER ? MIDDLE SCHOOL (1.0 FTE) Location: New Ulm Middle School, 414 South Payne Street, New Ulm, MN Desired Qualifications:

• Current MN K-6 teaching license, 5-8 Science endorsement preferred, 5-12 Science license
• Understanding of middle school philosophy and the teaming concept
• Understanding of state and national standards in the area of Science
• Understanding and experience in utilizing instructional best practices to engage middle level students in learning
• Understanding and experience in assessment and data drive decision-making
