Key Responsibilities

As a Bilingual Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing marketing materials against established guidelines and brand standards, entering results into a database, and communicating results to advertisers
  • Working with multiple clients and customers (primarily via phone, chat, and email) to understand their marketing needs and provide support
  • Maintaining accurate profile and communication records with proactive recognition and reporting tied to support and actions provided
  • Coaching customers and advertising partners in creating and submitting brand-enhancing content and program-abiding documentation
  • Collaborating with the team to participate in idea-sharing and brainstorming sessions
  • Providing ongoing feedback, both internally and proactively communicating status and recommendations to customers
  • Performing website functionality checks and quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with program guidelines (QC)
  • Identifying potential risks and issues and escalating them to the relevant teams for resolution

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fluency in both English and Japanese, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, communication, journalism, marketing, or a related field
  • Less than 1 year of marketing or advertising experience (entry-level)
  • Some remote-work experience preferred, with a demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Established technical competence, including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional client and customer service skills
  • Ability to organize work, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional ability to work within a team environment
  • A natural curiosity and eager desire to learn

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience working in a customer-facing role, particularly in a marketing or advertising environment

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive salary range of $37,000 - $45,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and internal equity, in compliance with Hawaii state law. In addition to a comprehensive compensation package, we offer:
