Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Advocate II at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering member, provider, and broker inquiries via telephone regarding product information, benefits, claims resolution, eligibility, and billing questions.
  • Providing first-level problem resolution by gathering and researching information related to inquiries.
  • Examining claim submissions for accuracy and validating customer understanding of information.
  • Documenting all client interactions according to established departmental procedures.
  • Prioritizing workflow and multitasking efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Delivering accurate information to customers in accordance with performance goals and objectives.
  • Maintaining customer advocate records and guiding customers to appropriate resources or programs.
  • Participating in system testing and ongoing education related to new services and industry topics.

Requirements

To succeed as a Customer Service Advocate II at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3 years of customer service experience.
  • Demonstrated skills as an empathetic and compassionate communicator.
  • Ability to quickly gain customer trust and confidence.
  • Demonstrated PC navigation and data entry skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves

While not required, we're particularly interested in candidates with:

  • 3 years of experience in a call center customer service role.
  • Experience with medical or insurance terminology.
