Key Responsibilities

As a Virtual Chat Support Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer inquiries via live chat platforms, providing timely and accurate solutions to their questions and concerns
  • Offering technical support and product information to customers, ensuring they have a seamless and satisfying experience with our products and services
  • Processing orders, returns, and account changes in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Resolving customer complaints and escalating complex issues to senior support agents or management, ensuring that every customer interaction is resolved to their satisfaction
  • Maintaining chat response time and quality standards, consistently delivering exceptional support experiences that meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Documenting customer interactions in our CRM system, ensuring that all relevant information is accurately recorded and easily accessible
  • Collaborating with team members on customer solutions, sharing knowledge and best practices to ensure that every customer receives the best possible support experience

Requirements

To succeed as a Virtual Chat Support Associate, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in chat support or customer service, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional support experiences
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex information to customers
  • Fast typing speed (40+ WPM) with accuracy, ensuring that you can respond to customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Strong multitasking abilities, with the ability to handle multiple customer interactions simultaneously while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to resolve complex customer issues
  • Reliable internet and a quiet home office, ensuring that you can work effectively and efficiently in a remote environment

Technical Requirements

To perform your duties as a Virtual Chat Support Associate, you will need:

  • A computer with Windows 10/Mac OS
  • High-speed internet (25+ Mbps minimum)
  • A dual monitor setup (preferred)
  • A backup internet connection (recommended)
  • Familiarity with chat software platforms, including our proprietary CRM system

Compensation & Benefits

As a Virtual Chat Support Associate, you can expect:

  • A competitive hourly rate of $17-21/hour, based on your level of experience
