Senior Product Designer - Customer Experience at arenaflex

As a leading innovator in the insurtech industry, arenaflex is revolutionizing the way people interact with insurance. We're seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Product Designer to own our customer experience and take it to the next level. This is an end-to-end role where you will be responsible for owning the digital experience for our customers, from research to execution. You'll partner closely with engineering, product management, operations, and compliance to continuously improve speed-to-quote, quote accuracy, and quote conversion.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Product Designer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

• Creating a strong design vision and aligning it with product and engineering to realize the vision
• Partnering with our data and marketing teams to help translate user insights into design strategy
• Collaborating to build and refine a new design language system that spans across our CX products
• Evangelizing design across the organization
• Refining and evolving our existing CX design language
• Developing research plans and executing them to better understand our user's desires and motivations
• Defining and tracking success metrics for customer experience across our CX products
• Helping us ideate on and deploy new design processes into our development cycle

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 3-5 years of product design experience
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates your design skill and an understanding of user-centered design
• A track record of delivering successful consumer-facing products and features
• A strong systems thinker with experience working within product ecosystems
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills — clear, concise, and collaborative

Nice to have skills

While not required, the following skills would be beneficial:

• Startup experience
• Experience within financial technology
• Experience with navigating complex compliance requirements
• Knowledge of insurance compliance, underwriting, or rating methodologies
