Responsibilities

As a Licensed Property and Casualty or Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Fielding inbound communication (phone, email, chat, social media, etc.) from our clients' members regarding their insurance needs
  • Utilizing knowledge of personal lines insurance to help members with quotes, new business, rating, policy, billing, payment, underwriting, contract, and coverage provisions, and premium changes
  • Conducting research and presenting customers with a resolution to their queries
  • Corresponding with customers, clients, insurance carriers, and internal sources to provide coverage information and policy recommendations
  • Executing various client service transactions, including policy endorsements, certificates, binders, cancellations, or other tasks
  • Adhering to performance metrics and quality standards

Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high-speed internet connection via wired Ethernet (no Wi-Fi, satellite, or cellular hotspot or cellular internet)
  • An upload speed of 5 Mbps and a download speed of 50 Mbps
  • A highly stable internet service provider (ISP) with 1% or less packet loss and latency under 100ms
  • An available cell phone or tablet and the ability to install our required 2FA software for multifactor authentication
  • A valid Resident Property and Casualty or Personal Lines License in the state of Georgia
  • A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
  • 1 year of call center experience
  • A High School diploma or GED
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, articulate voice and listening skills
  • Ability to maintain member privacy
  • Internet and research skills, with the ability to quickly become an expert in a variety of subjects
  • Computer savvy and able to resolve minor technical issues with minimal assistance
  • Typing 25 words per minute with 90% accuracy
  • Ability to critically think through situations and solutions
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and adhere to assigned schedule with minimal assistance
  • Ability to multitask in several computer applications at once while holding a conversation with a customer
