Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Inside Sales Representative to support our Midwest team. This role will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and play a key part in managing existing customer relationships, coordinating orders, and ensuring seamless communication between customers and internal teams.

This position is designed as a developmental role with a clear path to transition into an Outside Sales position with approximately 1-2 years, based on performance, product knowledge, and market development.

Key Responsibilities

· Support the Regional Sales Manager in managing and growing existing customer accounts

· Process and track customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery

· Maintain and update pricing in internal systems

· Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and communication

· Coordinate with plant locations and supply chain teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment

· Assist with product samples, approvals, and customer qualification processes

Work & Travel Expectations

· Inside Sales Phase:

· This is primarily remote position

· Attendance at quarterly sales meetings at company headquarters is required

· Occasional travel to industry exhibitions and trade shows may be required

· Transition to Outside Sales (after - 1-2 Years):

· Role will evolve into a field-based position

Requirements

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, or a related field preferred

· 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related role

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus

· Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions

· Interest in developing a career in outside sales
