[Remote] Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Specialist role supports global payroll operations, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing across multiple countries while collaborating with HR and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Process and support global payroll operations using ADP Streamline and ADP Celergo
• Ensure accurate salary calculations, variable compensation, and deductions
• Collaborate with HR and payroll vendors to comply with country-specific tax and statutory requirements
• Maintain relationships with global payroll vendors and track regulatory updates
• Review and complete quarterly and annual filings and government submissions
• Serve as primary contact for employee payroll inquiries
• Recommend improvements to payroll accuracy and efficiency
• Prepare and review payroll-related journal entries in multiple countries
• Perform account reconciliations and support compliance with accounting policies
• Coordinate with Accounting and Finance for accurate reporting and audits
• Validate integrations between HRIS and payroll systems and resolve discrepancies
• Participate in automation and continuous process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, and Accounting
• Communicate proactively with leadership about risks and compliance gaps

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 0–2 years of accounting or payroll experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment
• Experience in global payroll environments
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
