[Remote] Head of Marketing
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Firstwork is building AI-native workforce operations software for companies that hire, onboard, verify, train and activate large frontline workforces. They are seeking a Head of Marketing who will define the category around AI-native workforce operations and build the marketing function from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- You’ll own positioning, narrative, brand, product marketing, founder-led content, customer stories, executive events, vertical campaigns, ecosystem relationships and AI-native demand generation
- You’ll turn our deployments, data, workflows and customer outcomes into proof that the future of workforce operations is already here
- You’ll build the early marketing team, but you should be dangerous before you are resourced. The right person can write, ship, experiment, use AI aggressively, build audience, create executive trust and generate pipeline without waiting for a large team or perfect infrastructure
Skills
- Exceptional taste
- Ability to write clearly, sharply and originally
- Understanding of how to make complex technology feel inevitable
- Fluency in AI tools and ability to use them as leverage
- Commercially minded with knowledge that great marketing should create revenue
- Comfortable around founders, executives and operators
- Ability to move fast without being sloppy
- Strong opinions that can be updated quickly
- Experience in enterprise software, vertical SaaS, AI, workforce technology, staffing, logistics, healthcare, hospitality, retail or private equity
- Experience as a Head of Marketing, Director of Marketing, founding marketer, product marketer, ex-founder, operator or GTM leader
