arenaflex is currently seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Remote Data Entry & Customer Support Specialist with a focus on Machine Learning Operations and AI Engineering to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: What You Will Do at arenaflex

  • Build Meaningful Relationships: Foster and develop strong working relationships with colleagues across multiple departments, providing thought leadership and demonstrating measurable impact by driving initiatives to successful completion with efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive ML Strategy: Engage actively with research teams and colleagues to help shape and drive machine learning strategies, identifying areas where business challenges can be solved creatively through the application of ML and data science techniques.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with a diverse group of specialists, engineers, and data scientists to design, implement, and successfully scale ML solutions that create magical experiences for our guests while pushing the boundaries of operational excellence.
  • Innovation and R&D: Drive research and development efforts, proofs of concept, technology pilot programs, and stakeholder interactions that lead to the development of next-generation AI platforms and tools.
  • Operational Support and Maintenance: Manage the day-to-day operational support and maintenance of ML-related products and services delivered by the team, ensuring reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement.
  • Standardize Best Practices: Build and document standard methodologies used in everyday operations and work closely with specialty units to plan, design, and execute large-scale projects in the AI and data analytics space.
  • Productionize ML Algorithms: Implement and productionize ML algorithms in areas such as predictive analytics, classification, image recognition, natural language processing (NLP), and anomaly detection, evaluating their performance against real-world datasets.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Collaborate with various teams to achieve objectives related to improving system performance and operational efficiency, aligning with existing software engineering practices that produce effective, maintainable code—including automated testing, continuous integration, code style consistency, and thorough code reviews.
  • Customer Support Excellence: Provide exceptional customer support to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries and maintaining the high standards of service that arenaflex is known for.

Essential Qualifications and Core Competencies

To succeed in this role at arenaflex, candidates should possess the following foundational skills and experiences. We recognize that not every candidate will meet every qualification, and we encourage applicants with strong foundational skills and a passion for learning to apply.

  • Programming Proficiency: 2+ years of demonstrated expertise in Python, with hands-on experience using predictive modeling frameworks such as TensorFlow, SparkMLlib, PySpark, LightGBM, MXNet, or similar tools.
  • Cloud Platform Experience: 2+ years of expert-level experience working with major cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Software Development Lifecycle Knowledge: Proficiency in SDLC processes, quality assurance (QA) cycles, and object-oriented programming design patterns.
  • Data Management Skills: Expert-level experience working with both structured and unstructured data (including images, video, text, and event data) and proficiency with SQL relational databases as well as non-relational (NoSQL) data stores.
  • Data Workflow Management: 2+ years of experience with Apache Airflow or another data workflow orchestration and management tool.
  • Version Control and CI/CD: Experience with version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab, Model Operations (MLOps), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Discovery and Requirements Gathering: Experience in leading discovery processes with business partners to identify requirements, define expected outcomes, and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Communication and Drive: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated determination to see projects through to successful completion.
  • Systems Integration: Solid systems integration and architecture skills, with the ability to translate new technologies into practical business solutions.

Preferred Qualifications: Nice-to-Have Skills

While not required, the following qualifications will help you stand out as a candidate for this role at arenaflex:

  • Experience with Docker containerization.
  • Experience with control systems and industrial automation frameworks.
  • Experience with Kubernetes orchestration platforms.
  • Experience with cloud-native solutions in GCP or another major cloud platform.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment practices.
  • Experience with data visualization and data monitoring tools such as Splunk, Plotly, or Tableau.
  • Experience with audio analytics and signal processing.
  • Experience with text analytics and natural language processing techniques.

Educational Background

Required: Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Programming, or a closely related technical discipline.

Preferred: Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Programming, or a closely related technical field.
