Role Overview – Customer Success & Sales Lead

The Customer Success & Sales Lead sits at the intersection of communication, problem‑solving, and revenue generation. You will be the primary liaison between arenaflex members (current and prospective) and the internal team, championing member concerns while also applying a natural sales talent to convert qualified prospects into lifelong community members. This is a fully remote, hands‑on role that offers the freedom to travel with our members, attend live “Chapters” (local meet‑ups), and shape the future of a fast‑growing startup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the arenaflex Support Function: Manage all inbound and outbound email communication, ensuring timely, empathetic, and solution‑focused responses.
  • Member Advocacy: Serve as the voice of members in internal meetings, translating feedback into actionable product and process improvements.
  • Sales Enablement: Work closely with the Admissions team to nurture accepted applicants, guiding them through onboarding and helping them decide to join arenaflex.
  • Community Guidance: Advise members on which arenaflex Chapters best align with their personal and professional goals, addressing concerns and removing barriers.
  • Content Creation: Draft member‑facing documentation, newsletters, FAQs, and onboarding PDFs that reflect arenaflex’s tone and brand.
  • Process Development: Identify bottlenecks, design scalable workflows, and document SOPs to elevate the support team’s efficiency.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making: Track key metrics (e.g., response time, satisfaction scores, conversion rates) and use insights to continuously improve the member experience.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product, and Operations to align messaging, share insights, and support cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Travel & Immersion: Participate in at least one live Chapter each quarter, experiencing the community firsthand and building authentic relationships.

Essential Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer success, client experience, or related role, with a proven track record of building and optimizing support processes.
  • Demonstrated sales experience—whether in a formal sales role or through consultative, relationship‑based selling.
  • Exceptional written English, with flawless grammar, punctuation, and a knack for persuasive storytelling.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple priorities without letting details slip.
  • Empathy and active listening—ability to step into a member’s shoes and understand their motivations and challenges.
  • Comfort with remote work tools (Slack, Notion, CRM platforms) and a self‑starter mindset.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Background in designing or editing visual assets (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) to create polished member‑facing documents.
