If you are passionate about turning massive datasets into meaningful stories and thrive in an environment that values both technical depth and business impact, arenaflex is the place to grow your career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and statistical frameworks using advanced techniques in predictive modeling, probability theory, decision science, and quantitative analytics.
  • Continuously innovate by exploring and adapting emerging modeling techniques, algorithmic approaches, and data science best practices to solve evolving business challenges.
  • Translate complex, high-volume datasets into meaningful, actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions and drive measurable value.
  • Apply analytical rigor to large-scale data using advanced statistical methods including predictive modeling, customer profiling, segmentation analysis, survey design, and data mining techniques.
  • Build, validate, and optimize recommendation engines, algorithmic designs, and computational models that address real business use cases.
  • Program and productionize solutions using Python, PySpark, Matplotlib, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other modern data science tools.
  • Implement supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, including decision trees, regression models, XGBoost, K-Means clustering, anomaly detection, interpretable ML, and Bayesian methods.
  • Leverage cloud computing platforms such as Azure and Databricks, and query large datasets efficiently using Snowflake.
  • Utilize modern software engineering practices and tools including GitHub, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), and agile methodologies to deliver high-quality, reproducible solutions.
  • Collaborate with finance teams, research scientists, software developers, and business leaders to define product requirements and deliver analytical support across the organization.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts, model outputs, and data-driven recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B experiments to measure the impact of new features, strategies, and product changes.
  • Mentor junior data scientists, contribute to peer reviews, and help shape the team’s analytical standards and best practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of four years of experience in data science, machine learning, quantitative analysis, or computational disciplines; OR a High School diploma/GED plus a minimum of seven years of equivalent experience.
  • Master’s degree (M.S.) in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Data Science, or Machine Learning.
  • At least four years of hands-on experience working with large-scale, complex datasets to build, train, and optimize machine learning, predictive, forecasting, and optimization models.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, or comparable programming languages used in modern data ecosystems.
  • Deep expertise in exploratory data analysis, feature engineering and selection, pattern detection, distribution analysis, visualization, and translating insights into data-driven business recommendations.
  • Experience building and evaluating decision trees, classifiers, and other supervised learning models including linear and logistic regression, time series modeling, generalized linear models, and support vector machines.
  • Solid understanding of unsupervised learning techniques such as K-Means clustering, hierarchical clustering, association rules, and principal component analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based machine learning platforms, distributed computing environments, data pipelines, cloud data stores, and serving engines.
  • Proven ability to design and analyze A/B experiments and interpret results with statistical confidence.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey rigorous technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, manage ambiguity, prioritize competing needs, and consistently deliver high-impact results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of successfully advocating technical solutions to research scientists, engineering teams, and business audiences.
  • At least two years of experience contributing to financial or business decisions within a corporate environment.
  • At least two years of direct management, indirect management, or cross-functional team leadership experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes, both domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Machine Learning.
  • Experience working with Internet of Things (IoT) data streams and Edge AI technologies.
  • Background in reinforcement learning methodologies and applications.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry or a related regulated domain.

Skills and Competencies for Success

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a passion for solving complex, open-ended problems.
  • Proficiency in translating business questions into well-defined analytical problems and measurable solutions.
  • Deep understanding of statistical inference, experimental design, and causal reasoning.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing meaningfully to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • A continuous learning mindset, with curiosity about new tools, techniques, and industry trends.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
