Your Role and Core Responsibilities

As a Bilingual Remote Customer Experience Specialist, you will work from the comfort of your home while interfacing with customers through inbound and outbound phone calls, chat, email, and other digital channels. Your primary mission is to provide best-in-class support and resolve routine inquiries and technical issues related to our client’s products and services. Key responsibilities include

  • Delivering inbound customer support in either French or English, following a structured call flow guide tailored to the customer’s preferred language.
  • Assisting customers in troubleshooting and resolving basic technical issues related to consumer technology products.
  • Documenting, tracking, and retrieving information accurately within internal databases and CRM systems.
  • Maintaining in-depth knowledge of client products and services, including smartphones, tablets, computers, and wearable devices.
  • Demonstrating working familiarity with iOS, macOS, or comparable operating systems and consumer technology platforms.
  • Identifying opportunities to recommend additional products or services that genuinely benefit the customer.
  • Delivering every customer interaction with empathy, professionalism, and a sincere desire to help.
  • Meeting performance goals, quality standards, and customer satisfaction targets consistently.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Minimum requirements include

  • Fluency in both French and English, with the ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally in writing and verbally.
  • A minimum of one year of customer service experience in a contact center, retail, hospitality, or similar environment.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A dedicated, quiet, and distraction-free home workspace suitable for handling customer calls.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
  • A genuine eagerness to learn new technologies, products, and software tools.
  • Solid computer navigation skills and a working understanding of PCs, browsers, and modern operating systems.
  • A reliable desktop or laptop computer capable of supporting testing activities (a work-issued computer may be provided depending on the specific role, to be discussed during the recruitment process).
  • A high-speed broadband internet connection (cable or fiber; wireless hotspots and satellite are not supported) and a personal smartphone.

Preferred Skills and Competencies

  • Prior experience supporting technology products such as smartphones, tablets, wearables, or home electronics.
  • Familiarity with iOS, macOS, Android, Windows, or comparable consumer platforms.
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Comfort with structured call flows, performance metrics, and quality monitoring.
  • Adaptability and resilience when handling challenging or escalated customer situations.
  • A collaborative spirit and a willingness to mentor and support teammates.
