We are proud of the culture we have built — one that celebrates accuracy, initiative, compassion, and continuous learning. If you are looking for a role where your attention to detail, typing accuracy, and administrative skills directly support meaningful outcomes, arenaflex is the place for you.

Position Overview

arenaflex is seeking a meticulous, self-motivated Remote Data Entry Analyst (Typist) to join our growing administrative support team. This role is ideal for a professional who takes pride in precision, enjoys structured work, and wants to contribute to an organization with a strong sense of purpose. As a Data Entry Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining critical information across multiple databases and information management systems that support our family and community service programs.

Your work, though often behind the scenes, will be the backbone of operations that affect real families and children every single day. The data you manage will help case coordinators, support specialists, and program leaders make informed decisions, track outcomes, and ensure that no family falls through the cracks. If you understand that great service starts with great information, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain client, family, and program data into internal databases, CRM platforms, and case management systems with a high degree of precision.
  • Review source documents such as case notes, intake forms, referrals, and community resource records to extract and verify information before entry.
  • Perform routine data audits and quality checks to identify inconsistencies, missing information, or errors, and take corrective action promptly.
  • Generate routine and ad-hoc reports for internal teams, program leaders, and external stakeholders, ensuring formatting and accuracy standards are met.
  • Organize and manage digital filing systems, ensuring all records are properly labeled, stored, and retrievable in accordance with arenaflex data governance policies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members to clarify data discrepancies, gather missing details, and confirm record accuracy.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion, in compliance with HIPAA and arenaflex privacy standards.
  • Support the administrative team with general clerical duties including drafting correspondence, preparing spreadsheets, and assisting with documentation workflows.
  • Meet established daily and weekly productivity and accuracy benchmarks while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Participate in virtual team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to continuously improve your skills and stay current with best practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, sociology, business administration, or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or a similar role where accuracy and attention to detail were critical.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy, with the ability to consistently maintain a high keystroke-per-minute rate with minimal errors.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as familiarity with cloud-based document management systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and stay productive without direct supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and stakeholders.
  • A valid driver’s license (may be required occasionally for occasional local errands or document drop-offs, depending on region).
  • Comfortable handling confidential information and demonstrating sound judgment and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a human services, nonprofit, healthcare, or community-based organization.
  • Familiarity with case management software, CRM platforms, or specialized data tracking systems.
  • Understanding of basic data privacy regulations such as HIPAA, FERPA, or similar compliance frameworks.
  • Experience working remotely or in a hybrid arrangement, with a demonstrated ability to self-manage and meet deadlines.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, particularly Spanish/English, depending on the community served.

Skills and Competencies for Success

At arenaflex, we know that technical skills are only part of the equation. The ideal candidate for this role will also bring a strong mix of soft skills and professional attributes that allow them to thrive in a mission-driven remote environment:

  • Unwavering Attention to Detail: You notice the small things others miss, and you understand that in data work, accuracy is non-negotiable.
  • Time Management: You can prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and stay focused in a distraction-free home workspace.
  • Reliability and Accountability: You take ownership of your work, meet your commitments, and follow through without needing constant oversight.
  • Adaptability: You are comfortable learning new systems, adjusting to evolving processes, and embracing change as the organization grows.
  • Compassion and Cultural Sensitivity: Even in a data-focused role, you understand that behind every record is a person, and you treat information with the respect it deserves.
  • Problem-Solving: When something doesn’t look right, you don’t just flag it — you investigate, propose solutions, and help the team resolve it.

Career Growth and Learning Opportunities

At arenaflex, we believe that career development is a shared responsibility. When you join our team, you are not just filling a position — you are stepping onto a career path with room to grow. We invest in our people through:

  • Structured onboarding and mentorship from experienced team members.
  • Tuition reimbursement programs that support your continued education in human services, business, data analytics, or related fields.
  • Cross-training opportunities that allow you to develop skills in reporting, analytics, program coordination, and beyond.
  • A clear pathway for advancement into roles such as Senior Data Analyst, Administrative Coordinator, or Program Support Lead.
  • Regular performance reviews with personalized development plans.

  • Generous Paid Time Off: 20 days of personal leave in your first year, increasing to 25 days thereafter, plus 12 paid holidays annually.
  • Longevity Bonus: We reward tenure and commitment through structured longevity bonuses that grow with your years of service.
  • Tuition Reimbursement: Support for continued education and professional certifications relevant to your role and career path.
