[Remote] Content & Creative Technology Consultant (SME)

The Content & Creative Technology Consultant role involves leading discovery engagements, advising stakeholders, and delivering actionable recommendations to enhance customer experience and streamline content operations.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary SME for content and creative technology, advising stakeholders on best practices, capabilities, and constraints
- Plan and lead discovery engagements to identify business needs, data and content flows, integration touchpoints, and technical gaps
- Design, organize, and facilitate stakeholder workshops (ideation, requirements, and solution alignment) to build consensus and capture detailed requirements
- Translate business outcomes into technical requirements, user stories, and solution designs that align with clients objectives
- Develop clear, prioritized recommendations and roadmaps for content strategy, creative technology (DAM, CMS, creative ops), and integration with clients platforms (e.g., CDP/CRM)
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, marketers, and external vendors to ensure designs are feasible and aligned to delivery timelines
- Document use cases, process flows, governance models, and acceptance criteria to support implementation and ongoing operations
- Support vendor selection, pilot programs, and implementation oversight; participate in testing, validation, and training to ensure successful handover and adoption
Skills
- 5+ years of experience working within a professional services consultancy/advisory firm or Adobe systems integrator, with a demonstrated focus on the implementation of work management and marketing content supply chain solutions
- 10+ years of experience generally working in marketing operations and technology, content operations, or creative operations and technology
- Demonstrated expertise or high familiarity across the creative and marketing technology stack: DAM platforms, work management tools, creative production systems, and martech integration points
- Working knowledge of AI and GenAI capabilities as applied to content creation, production automation, and creative workflow, including a practical understanding of AI maturity models and responsible adoption frameworks
- Experience conducting technology discovery through stakeholder interviews and documentation review (not platform audits or configuration reviews)
- Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for senior marketing and operations leaders
- Ability to work collaboratively across a blended consulting team spanning organizational design, creative operations, and digital strategy
- Experience in enterprise retail, consumer brands, or similarly complex marketing environments is a plus
