About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused individual to join our team as a Remote Part-Time Data Entry Specialist. As a key member of our administration and payroll support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data systems. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately entering data from various sources into our secure online databases and systems, maintaining data integrity, and organizing information for easy retrieval. - Accurately entering data from various sources into our secure online databases and systems, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to established protocols
- Maintaining data integrity by identifying and correcting any errors or inconsistencies, and implementing measures to prevent future discrepancies
- Following established data entry procedures and protocols, and contributing to the development of best practices and process improvements
- Organizing and categorizing data for easy retrieval, and ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate
- Performing light data scrubbing or basic data analysis tasks as required, and providing support to the team with data-related queries and issues
Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical, business, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in data entry or a related field, although prior experience is not required for all candidates
- Excellent typing skills, with a minimum of 60 words per minute, and a strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, and the ability to quickly learn new software applications
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment, with a strong focus on productivity and efficiency
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the team and provide support to colleagues as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a medical or healthcare environment, with knowledge of medical terminology and administration procedures
