Remote Full-time Live

About arenaflex – Pioneering Heart‑Centric Health Care

At arenaflex, we believe that health care should be personal, convenient, and affordable for every individual. Our purpose—bringing our heart to every moment of health—drives a culture where compassion meets innovation. As a leading retailer‑pharmacy hybrid, arenaflex blends cutting‑edge digital tools with a human‑first approach, ensuring that each interaction feels like a caring conversation rather than a transaction. Join a team that is reshaping the future of pharmacy, where your expertise will directly influence the health outcomes of millions across the nation.

Position Overview

The Remote Retail Customer Care Pharmacist role is a fully virtual, contact‑center position that does not involve dispensing medication in a brick‑and‑mortar pharmacy. Instead, you will leverage your pharmacy degree and licensure to provide medication therapy management (MTM), clinical consultations, and patient education to healthcare professionals and consumers alike. You will be a critical member of arenaflex’s interdisciplinary care network, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other pharmacists to improve medication safety, adherence, and overall health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction: Respond to inbound and outbound calls, chat messages, and secure email inquiries, addressing medication‑related concerns with empathy and accuracy.
  • Prescription Verification: Review prescription orders for appropriateness, potential drug‑drug interactions, and alignment with patient health conditions, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Medication Therapy Management: Conduct comprehensive MTM sessions, develop individualized care plans, and provide evidence‑based recommendations to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
  • Drug Information Services: Answer questions about dosages, storage, side effects, contraindications, and emerging therapies, drawing on the latest clinical guidelines.
  • Insurance Navigation: Research insurance formularies, assist patients with claim issues, and facilitate reimbursement processes to reduce barriers to medication access.
  • Customer Care System Design: Contribute to the development of a robust, cloud‑based patient profile and medication history repository that supports seamless information sharing across the arenaflex network.
  • Collaborative Care Network Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate care and improve patient experiences.
  • Service Protocols & Safety Plans: Establish and refine standard operating procedures that prioritize medication safety, error detection, and adverse event reporting.
  • Adherence Tools Integration: Implement reminder systems, medication synchronization programs, and counseling scripts that promote adherence and patient satisfaction.
  • Quality Improvement & Research: Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, contribute to clinical research projects, and share findings with the broader arenaflex team.

Work Schedule & Location

This is a remote, work‑from‑home position. Candidates must be able to work within the following shift options (all times Eastern Time):

Due to state‑specific regulatory restrictions, applicants residing in Arkansas, Georgia, Hawaii, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Washington, D.C. are ineligible for this role.

Essential Qualifications

  • PharmD or BS in Pharmacy with an active Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license in your state of residence.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive pharmacy experience, preferably with exposure to clinical services or MTM.
  • Demonstrated ability to obtain a Rhode Island pharmacist license within 90 days of hire (or willingness to relocate if required).
  • Advanced problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities, with a track record of navigating complex clinical scenarios.
  • Strong command of medical terminology, drug information resources, and evidence‑based practice guidelines.
  • Exceptional collaboration and teamwork skills, enabling effective partnership with multidisciplinary health‑care teams.
  • Growth‑mindset orientation—agility in learning, coaching, and developing self and others.
  • Proven execution skills: planning, delivering, and supporting initiatives from concept through completion.
  • Ability to weigh costs and benefits of clinical actions to select the most appropriate therapeutic option.
  • High digital literacy, including proficiency with electronic health records (EHR), pharmacy management systems, and virtual communication platforms.

Preferred Qualifications
