[Remote] Cisco Senior Engineer

They are seeking a Cisco Senior Engineer to design and implement computer information and data communications networks, particularly complex voice and contact center solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design and support complex voice and contact center solutions that incorporate technologies such as Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise, Avaya Aura Contact Center Enterprise, Oracle SBC's, and Five9 Contact Center as a Service
  • Engineer multi-vendor solutions that are fault resilient with integrations across the multi-vendor platforms
  • Network planning and analysis to determine capacity needs for network infrastructure and other improvements, including voice technologies, PBX, and voice messaging automation
  • Research and recommend specific network requirements, such as software, platforms, and hardware
  • Develop and write procedures for use and troubleshooting of communications software
  • Stay current with technology trends to effectively manage product portfolio in support of business needs
  • Collaborate and drive effective partnerships across the enterprise technology functions to maximize alignment, efficiency, cost optimization and investments, and delivery

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Information Systems/Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Four (4) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation
  • Four (4) years of experience in Software development lifecycle
  • Four (4) years of experience in Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting
  • Four (4) years of experience in Avaya and Cisco technologies
  • Four (4) years of experience in Designing, implementing, and operating a Cisco Enterprise Contact Center
  • Four (4) years of experience in Cisco components: Unified Customer Voice Portal, Contact Center Enterprise, Communications Manager, Finesse, Intelligence Center, Intelligent Contact Management, Border Element (CUBE)
  • Four (4) years of experience in Call routing and flows, IVR, CMS, recording, and overall contact center functionality
  • Four (4) years of experience in Integration with Five9, or other public-cloud contact center systems
  • Four (4) years of experience in Cloud-based telephony services
  • Four (4) years of experience in Agile methodologies and product management tools
  • Any related occupation, such as Network and Computer Systems Administrators, Computer Network Architects, Computer Network Support Specialists, and/or Senior Programmer Analyst
