Providence is a comprehensive healthcare organization serving the Pacific Northwest, and they are seeking an Analyst for Surgical Services in Surgery Administration. This role involves supporting daily surgical operations, optimizing preference cards, analyzing case time data, and enhancing productivity to improve patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting daily surgical and procedural operations by maintaining and optimizing preference cards
  • Monitoring case time averages
  • Regularly reviewing and updating preference cards to ensure accuracy, alignment with physician needs, and consistency across cases
  • Analyzing data such as case time averages to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas where workflow adjustments can enhance productivity and throughput
  • Supporting data-driven decision-making
  • Improving scheduling accuracy
  • Contributing to delivering high-quality patient care while maximizing operational performance
  • Managing and coordinating the daily operations and maintenance of the Surgical Services Information Systems at a specific facility
  • Analyzing user requirements
  • Helping to plan, develop, and implement information systems for moderately complex processes

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of experience in Surgery Information Systems
  • Experience with Crystal Report Writer and SQL queries, and analyzes data using MS Excel- Pivot Tables
  • Demonstrated experience in effective decision and problem solving skills and strong organizational skills
  • 5 years Clinical Operating Room (perioperative) experience
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Medical Information Systems, or Information Systems Management
  • Coursework/Training: Training in multiple language programming, Crystal Reports and other reporting tools
  • Experience in working with various computer operating systems, databases, websites, hardware and software programs
  • Experience with facilitating teams and staff training/education
