Security Officer (Part-Time) – Renton
Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Security Officer to join our team at Amazon, based in Renton, Washington. This part-time position will require a dedicated individual to work less than 4 hours per day. The selected candidate will be offered a competitive salary, payable on an hourly basis. Job Description:
As a Security Officer at Amazon, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment for our employees and visitors. You will be ensuring the safety of our facilities by patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, and authorizing entrance and departure of employees and visitors.
Responsibilities:
– Ensure the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises.
– Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees and visitors.
– Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company’s premises regularly.
– Respond to and resolve security alarms in a timely manner.
– Inspect and patrol premises regularly to detect any suspicious activities.
– Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a security officer or guard will be advantageous.
– Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
– Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
– Must have a clean criminal record.
– Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
Educational Qualifications:
– High school diploma is required for the post.
– Specialized training in security services and any additional education in law enforcement or security management will be a plus.
