Job Summary:
We are looking to hire a full-time Cement Mixer Driver for our reputable construction company. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive hourly pay range, based on experience. Job Description:
As a Cement Mixer Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and efficient Cement Mixer Driver to join our growing company. In this position, you will make deliveries to our construction sites, ensuring timely and safe arrival.
Responsibilities:
– Delivering cement to construction sites following the assigned schedule and route.
– Following all safety rules and regulations.
– Maintaining truck in good working order.
– Loading and unloading cement.
– Maintaining a professional demeanor with coworkers and customers.
Requirements:
– Valid Class A or B CDL with tanker endorsement.
– Clean driving record.
– Ability to pass a drug and background test.
– Physical stamina to load and unload heavy cement on a regular basis.
– Basic math skills to calculate delivery quantities.
– Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
Educational Qualifications:
– High school diploma or GED equivalent.
– Commercial driver’s license (CDL) training certification.
Experience:
– Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role is preferred.
