Job Summary:
AAA is seeking a dedicated and experienced Tow Truck Operator to join our dynamic team. As one of the leading roadside assistance companies in the country, AAA is committed to providing excellent service to its customers. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary of $18 – $22 per hour, and includes benefits such as health, dental, paid training, paid vacations, and a 401k retirement plan.
Job Description:
Your role as a Tow Truck Operator will involve assisting motorists with vehicle breakdowns, performing vehicle recoveries, towing vehicles for impounds, assisting with vehicle unlocks, jump starts, tire changes, and other similar duties. You will be the face of AAA, as you interact with customers and provide them with much-needed assistance during stressful situations.
Requirements:
– Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
– Must have knowledge of and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
– Ability to operate a tow truck and related equipment.
– Must have the ability to work in all weather conditions.
– Good physical condition is required to perform the duties of the job.
– Good verbal communication skills and the ability to interact well with customers are essential.
– Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Responsibilities:
– Respond promptly to calls for service.
– Operate tow truck in a safe manner.
– Maintain truck and equipment in clean and working order.
– Provide excellent customer service.
– Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Educational Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Experience:
Experience in a towing role is beneficial, but not required, as we offer comprehensive training to successful candidates.
