Online Remote English Teachers for Grade 5 and Older Korean Students

Our programs are based on the curriculum from the United States, which enables us to provide equal opportunities to students whose first language is not English. Purple Academy is currently hiring Online English Teachers to teach advanced 5th-grade students or higher at the upper-elementary level. The teacher will give lectures, check homework, and lead discussions. Purple Academy is looking for passionate and enthusiastic online English teachers with a strong work ethic to guide, coach, and help students improve their reading comprehension using provided materials (books, videos, articles, and worksheets). Hiring Experienced Online English Teacher for Korean Students (Grade 5 and higher) 120 minutes of online teaching with a small group of students for each class... (Basic teaching materials will be provided) Classes are held Monday to Friday for 2 hours, either from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM or from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM (KST). Candidates must be available during these time slots to be considered for the position. Each class is two hours long, and candidates may propose their available time slots. Thorough writing grading required (Additional payment will be provided). A Bachelor s degree or higher is required (submission of a bachelor's degree is mandatory). English teaching certificates such as TESOL or TEFL (minimum of 120 hours) are preferred. Must speak English fluently at an idiomatic level. Enthusiastic, energetic, and able to engage well with children. Strong communication skills with both headquarters and students in the classroom. Degree in English, Teaching, Education, or Linguistics. Experience using Zoom for online teaching. Experience in learning new languages. $40/h + (additional payment per feedback) A demo lesson will be required before hiring.
