Part time HR Professional Needed for a Growing Christian Foundation
About the position We are seeking a part-time HR Professional for a growing Christian Foundation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all human resources activities, focusing on developing a strong corporate culture and ensuring that the staff is well-equipped to deliver the Foundation's Vision, Mission, and Strategy. This role is pivotal in cultivating a positive, effective, and Christ-centered work environment. Responsibilities Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with the Foundation's Vision, Mission, and Values. , Oversee the onboarding processes and ensure timely and effective onboarding of new employees. , Manage payroll functions and ensure timely processing of payroll. , Maintain and update employee records and HR databases. , Collaborate with the Executive Team to identify training needs and develop personal development plans for employees. , Facilitate mid-year and annual performance appraisal and compensation processes. , Administer and manage employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. , Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. , Cultivate a safe and Spirit-filled work environment. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field. , 5 years of experience in HR, particularly in culture development and employee relations. , Excellent written and verbal communication skills. , Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills. Nice-to-haves Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, PHR, SPHR, CPP, FPC) is a plus. , Experience in nonprofit organizations is a plus. , Start-to-finish experience in payroll processing is a big plus.
