Senior Commissions Accountant - 100% REMOTE - $100K-$115K + Bonus
Outstanding and very reputable, $600mm SaaS Technology company based out of Utah, is looking for a Senior Accountant in thier Commissions group, for an immediate need. Duties: Accounting for Commissions (Employee) and Commission Plans Ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management Prepare and file consortium and royalty reports with multiple states and organizations. Maintain contract repository. Ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of global finance and general ledger reporting structure. Perform as a key resource in the month end close process. Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations. Lead certain ongoing processes including vendor management. Commissions Accounting along with Corporate G/L Assist with the external financial statement audit. Participate in process improvement projects within the finance team. Reports to Accounting Manager / Controller Assisting the Accounting Director, Tax Director, and other finance managers with cross-functional and compliance-based projects Qualifications BS in Accounting, Masters preferred. 3-5 years of Accounting and Finance experience preferred CPA preferred or in process Strong understanding of accounting theory and practices. Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP, including willingness to research and resolve accounting applications. Proficient in ERP software experience.
