Captain - Offshore Wind Farm Crew Transfer Vessel

Working from our satellite location in Little Creek, Norfolk, VA, Atlantic Wind Transfers is seeking a Captains for work aboard our offshore wind Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV). This is a full-time position paying a competitive wage. This role is not scheduled on rotations and does not provide housing; applicants must be based or plan to be based locally in Virginia. Job Description: Our Captains are responsible for the professional delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality service and operations to our customers and their team onboard. This role will oversee operations aboard our crew transfer catamarans, powered by two MAN ED2862 engines driving Hamilton Waterjets. Captains are responsible for crew management, day-to-day operations and maintenance of the vessel, ensuring that all operations are conducted within our company safety, security, operations, and vessel management policies and procedures. With the support of our shoreside team, you will be responsible for and the manager of all activity onboard. Qualifications: USCG 100GRT Master’s License, Radar Observer Unlimited, FA/CPR/AED. Extensive radar experience is required. STCW Basic a plus, Experience handling waterjet-driven high-speed catamarans required. This role requires mechanical ability; our Captains are responsible for all daily vessel maintenance. The position will encompass a wide range of responsibilities including crew management, vessel maintenance, and administration of a variety of company policies.
