Key Responsibilities • Efficiently pre-register and schedule moderately complex procedures while coordinating various resources to meet patient requirements. • Ensure accurate identification of patient medical records following organizational guidelines. • Maintain proficiency in the hospital's scheduling software to facilitate seamless operations. • Deliver exceptional patient experiences by promptly addressing inquiries and guiding callers to the appropriate resources. • Communicate any changes or cancellations in a timely manner through both written and verbal correspondence. • Assess and prioritize scheduling requests to ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. • Pre-register patient encounters by collecting necessary demographic and financial information for various services. • Develop a deep understanding of the scheduling system to assist patients with inquiries related to billing, insurance, and self-pay options.
