Job title: ECE Floating Teacher - daily 10 am to 2 pm Company: RENAISSANCE MONTESSORI ACADEMY Job description : Summary The Renaissance Montessori Academy in Parker, Colorado is seeking a part-time early childhood Teacher or Assistant Teacher to work as a floater in the school daily 10 am to 2 pm. This position will be supporting each classroom by providing breaks and substituting as needed. RMA is a growing school and opportunities for advancement and increased hours arise often. RMA is a small non-profit Montessori school supporting children age 2.5 through Elementary. Duties As an RMA employee you would be working with a close team to support the growth and education of children 2.5 through Elementary. Job details Support all children and classrooms for teacher breaks and subbing duties as needed Support outside play with children Support indoor play with children If interested, support and create curriculum for summer activities during summer camp If you are a native Spanish speaker - possibility to run a Spanish program as well The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Support the maintenance of a beautifully prepared environments Model appropriate behavior at all times Support RMA in positive and informative communication with families Build respectful, collaborative relationships with families and staff Collaborate with other teachers and administration regarding school policies and procedures Attend and participate in meetings and events with administration, teachers and families Maintain continued commitment to others Requirements Job Requirements: Must be Colorado Early Childhood Teacher or Assistant Teacher Qualified, or be willing to obtain within 6 months Ensure a schedule to maintain 15 credits of continuing education in ECE Uphold the Montessori Pedagogical Guidelines Be willing and able to support and/or lead classrooms if necessary Be prompt, flexible, and a team player Be a dedicated model for lifelong learning Bring positivity and a forward-thinking mindset to the work environment Be willing to submit the requirements for early childhood background checks Be able to work in the United States Benefits We offer: Online CDA courses free for employees and sponsorships for completion Ongoing trainings Growth opportunities in both Montessori and early childhood in general Team building Paid time off benefits Partially funding of Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance A great Parent Community An administration dedicated to a supportive mindset A fun, small group of like-minded individuals to work with Expected salary : $19 - 21 per hour Location : Parker, CO Apply Job!
