This role provides an exciting opportunity to shape and build enterprise-level software applications in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The Staff Full Stack Software Engineer will work closely with designers, AI specialists, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality, AI-powered solutions. You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of full stack applications, participate in architectural and cloud engineering decisions, and mentor junior team members. The position emphasizes rapid iteration, modern software practices, and deep collaboration with product and design teams. Ideal candidates have strong technical expertise, leadership experience, and a passion for building solutions that enhance end-to-end user experiences. Accountabilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications in enterprise software products.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to develop innovative, user-focused solutions.
  • Participate in agile rituals, occasionally leading discussions and sprints.
  • Integrate AI tools and commercial large language model (LLM) APIs into software solutions.
  • Improve code quality, extensibility, and test coverage across projects.
  • Make architecture and cloud engineering decisions alongside other engineers.
  • Enhance internal developer tools, workflows, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across the application stack and participate in incident response.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide feedback on team processes and technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 10 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in tech lead, architecture lead, or management roles.
  • Strong full stack development skills in Python and JavaScript, with experience in modern frontend frameworks (React preferred).
  • Experience building cloud-native applications with serverless technologies (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, or similar).
  • Proficiency in version control systems (Git), relational databases (Postgres preferred), RESTful API design, CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker, ECS), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with AI development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot) and API integrations.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly to evolving requirements.
  • Preferred: TypeScript, Next.js, Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, SAM), building applications on LLMs, data science tooling in Python (numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, pandas).
