We're seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Software Engineer to join our Media Foundation team, where you'll play a key role in building and improving the foundation that powers products across Airbnb. As a member of our Application Foundation Org, you'll collaborate with a talented team of engineers to deliver flexible, efficient, and scalable solutions that drive business growth.

About the Role:

• Design, develop, and operate Airbnb's Media infrastructure, shaping the technical vision and delivering high-quality solutions
• Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to execute product and business strategies, building novel products and features that delight users
• Contribute to the full development cycle, from technical design to launch, and continuously learn and improve technical and non-technical abilities

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of relevant software development experience in a fast-paced tech environment
• Strong software skills in Java, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Passion for efficiency, availability, technical quality, and system quality, with experience working with microservice architecture at scale (a plus)
