Part-Time Adult English Language Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Part-Time Adult English Language Instructor to provide exceptional instruction and support to adult learners in a variety of educational settings. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, develop and implement engaging lesson plans, and contribute to the growth and development of our adult education program.

About the Role: As a Part-Time Adult English Language Instructor, you will be responsible for providing classroom instruction, developing individualized educational plans, and implementing curriculum that meets the needs of adult learners. You will also participate in professional development, curriculum development, and student documentation practices, and work collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive and respectful learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of adult learners
• Provide individualized instruction and support to students
• Participate in professional development and curriculum development
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and respectful learning environment
• Maintain accurate student records and other clerical data
• Perform non-instructional responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, ESL, TOEFL, or a related field
• Minimum of one year of ESL teaching experience or adult education experience
• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office and Google products
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work with limited supervision and handle multiple priorities

• Competitive salary: $20 per hour
• Up to 20 hours per week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9am-12pm
