Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heat and Ventilation Specialist to join our team in Anchorage, USA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heating and ventilation systems within our facilities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair heating and ventilation systems, including boilers, pumps, and fan components
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing fan/pump motors and belts, and minor plumbing repairs
  • Interpret and work from plans, prints, specifications, and established maintenance procedures
  • Maintain knowledge of standard heating, ventilation, and mechanical equipment, including boilers, furnaces, and building automation system controls
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Alaska second-class boiler operator's license or commensurate experience and knowledge
  • Minimum of four years of experience in the field of heating and ventilation preferred
  • Ability to work at heights over 20 feet and lift items weighing less than 40 lbs.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
